Abstract

We propose an optically rewriteable TN LC display. TN LCD does not require an electronic scheme, a power supplier, conductive layers inside devices, which provides a possibility to use this type display in plastic cards, registration and other systems. We discuss the construction and methods of a rewriting image in optically rewriteable LC display with a high contrast and long life time.
