Abstract

Production polarization of a+ and cr in 800 GeV proton-Beryllium inclusive reaction has been measured. At <Xr>=0.39 and <pt>=0.76 GeV/c, the mean polarization of a+ is -0.097±0.012±0.009, and -0.011±0.010±0.01O at <xr>=0.46 and <Pt>=0.89 GeV/c for the cr. The magnetic moment of a+ is 0.657±0.028±0.020 n.m .. With a sample of polarized crs produced by polarized neutral hyperons, the magnetic moment of n- is -2.08±0.15±0.13 n.m ..
