Abstract
The fixed bed adsorption of certain pollutants, namely, phenol, p-chlorophenol and mercuric ions, from water has been studied. Certain variables have been investigated, including, solution flowrate, pollutant concentration, bed height and adsorbent, activated carbon, particle size, The data have been analysed using the bed depth service time adsorption model.
