Abstract
At first, we introduce the concept of CEC and its history, and analyze the characteristics of cooperative antisubmarine engagement. From Ship Self-Defense System (SSDS) to Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC), both show the advanced thinking of Network Centric Warfare in 21 century. From three aspects, we investigate the characteristics of underwater CEC. For researching cooperative antisubmarine engagement, an antisubmarine CEC distributed interactive simulation system has been constructed based on UDP protocol in LAN. Using central node CPU to simulate CEP and LAN to simulate DOS, two examples have been analyzed. The principle and some key techniques of designing antisubmarine CEC system are discussed.
