Abstract

Angular correlations between inelastically scattered protons leading to the 2+ and in some cases the 4+ states of doubly even nuclei in the mass-90 region, and subsequent 2+ → 0+ γ-rays were measured. Analogue resonances corresponding to the lowest 5 2+ states of odd nuclei were observed. The data were analysed using a method which takes into account compound nuclear enhancement. Relative decay partial amplitudes of the analogue resonances were deduced.
