Abstract
This paper offers a new methiod for dynamic measurement of the micro-stepmotor and other precision mechanisms by means of laser. Doppler technique owing to the self-adapting calibration by microcomputer, this measurement is quantitative and of high accuracy. Based on studies, we have developed a measuring system and made a lot of experiments on dynamical measurement for the micro-stepmotor of a quartz watch with this system. The dynamical curves obtained are in good agreement with the results of the theoretical analysis. It is shown that this measuring omethod is the non-contact type and it completely represnets the practical motion of the mechanism. It is also possible to extend its use to other precision micro-mechanisms. Therefore this is a measuring method of great promise.
