Abstract

The pandemic has greatly elevated peer pressure levels, owing to more limited resources, lack of face-to-face interactions, information explosion, and bias. Based on a researcher's personal journey, this Matter of Opinion discusses the initiation and development of peer pressure in academia and offers suggestions on how to fight against it.
