Abstract

A new method for improving the calculation results of the new geometrical solution model has been proposed by using the principles of SELF-SReM model. The information presented in ternary and multicomponent systems has been utilized for "mapping" the metastable phases in binary boundaries. Application of the new method to Mn-Fe-C and Fe-Si-C ternary liquid alloys showed a good agreement with the experimental results.
