Triangulation system based on non-diffracting beams and virtual detector

Abstract

A novel laser triangulation system is proposed. The non-diffracting beam is used as the measuring beam and a virtual detector is used to expand detector size. Compared with the conventional triangulation measurement system, the measurement range in this system is prolonged while the high measurement accuracy and the high resolution are kept. The system structure is simple and the measurement speed is high.
