Abstract
Outputs from a sediment transport model do not necessarily coincide with the reality exactly. Such discrepancies are mainly resulted from the existence of system and stochastic variations. In this study output uncertainties of a computerized sediment transport model HEC2-SR are analysed using three methods including the first-order variance estimation method, Latin Hypercubic sampling technique and Harr's point estimation method. In the analysis, model output uncertainties affected by stochastic input parameter uncertainties are of the main concern. (Authors)
