With the development of economy and the progress of science and technology, the application of synthetic adhesives has been extended to all fields in the life. And it has become a very promising fine chemical industry. Epoxy resin adhesive has a series of excellent properties, making it popular in various industries. One-component epoxy component adhesives are also been focused on owing to its convenient use, long service life, environmental protection and low cost. In this study, we develop a one-component epoxy adhesives with microencapsulated amines by simply integrating a kind of amine microcapsules which were synthesized and investigated systematically in the epoxy matrix without external intervention. The morphology of amine microcapsules can be adjusted: spherical-fusiform-tubular. The obtained microcapsule possesses superior core fraction which was higher than reported work. And the prepared the one-component epoxy adhesives present excellent adhesion performance. With TEPA microcapsules which in possession of small particle size the one-part adhesives present comparable adhesion properties to the traditional two-part adhesives. This moderate and viable strategy provides a flesh route to encapsulate the hydrophilic amine and the preparation of one-component adhesives, which are charming, potential and of great importance in practical applications. Key words: amine microcapsules; one-component adhesives; microchannel method; interfacial polymerization
