Scrolldeck.io : data-driven visual storytelling and presentation software

Abstract

ScrollDeck unleashes users’ creativity by allowing them to create data-focused presentations, visual storytelling, and scrollytelling. It’s is a web-based presentation software which complements traditional slide-based programs, empowering the user to create engaging and memorable experiences. The development of the product and the entrepreneurial journey itself were based on iterations and feedback from potential customers, leading us to a trial and error method. This methodology led us to explore related fields, including Computer Vision and Narrative Visualization creating the building blocks of our products. Therefore, exploring how to convey information visualization, capturing and mapping data, we built the first flow-based Data Visualization engine to integrate data seamlessly into presentations.
